1) Install SDK http://www.3m.com/ssdcp/3M%20Page%20Readers/Standard/3M%20Page%20Reader%20SDK%203.3.3.10%20Setup.exe
2) Find KeyboardWedge.exe in "bin" folder of there 3M SDK folder was installed.
C:\Program Files (x86)\3M\3M Page Reader\3.3.2.7\Bin
Or if your system is 32bit
C:\Program Files\3M\3M Page Reader\3.3.2.7\Bin
3) Switch keyboard to English.Then application KeyboardWedge.exe start open notepad and put the passport on scanner. You must see MRZ from the passport without difference.
If you will see strange symbols you must select in windows language settings "English". This is where you find "language for the program that do not supported UTF8"
thanks for the help. It is working now. I was using "ReaderExpo.exe" before and no data was read from ehaj.
ReplyDeleteI used "KeyboardWedge.exe" and ehaj got the data from the scanner even though it did not get the passport expiration date. Otherwise all the other fields were read. Thanks for the help.

Deletepassport expiry date present on MRZ field. But date of issue is not.

I can submit one passport in one group but when i am trying to add more passports it becomes hard to read the passports after many times of trying.
i checked with my 3m provider and with babalumrah.com but still not fixed
any one have a solution?.

I did finish all the paper work from Saudi Arabia ministry got e-hajj user name and password and did finish all the payments in e-hajj site hotels transportation and all contract is done. Please can someone tell me what to do next step by step.
